I am not an art expert so all I can say is that this Pollock product meets my expectations very well. Definitely worth recommending. The brushstrokes are not the exact strokes alone the painting (of course) but it creates a good enough effect that the paint doesn't look pure flat. Today I met with the owner of the frame shop and he hadn't yet opened the package with the Bouguereau painting that was sent to me last week. I must say we were both impressed. Thanks so much for creating a really nice replica of that painting, and it was very clever of your artists to make the painting look subtle like Bouguereau artwork by not applying brushstrokes paint with a loaded brush. It's a fantastic reproduction. So now I would like to order Renoir's The Two Sisters painting. The 24"x30" dimensions are almost identical to the original and I would like brushstrokes added. In this work, you can load brushstrokes a little bit more in order to get depth to the the flowers that the sisters are wearing and on the table in front of them, the red hat, and much of the greenery in the background. After doing extensive research on a variety of art galleries and print shops offering genuine canvas transfers, I decided to make the purchase of the canvas of a favorite painting of mine by Salvador Dali, "La Separazione Dell'Atomo" from Montreal-based, ArtToCanvas, with whom I got in contact online. From the very first conversation I had with Anthony, the owner, the passion with which the people at ArtToCanvas showed for their work was evident in the way they spoke about what they do, and why they do it. I exchanged a few emails with Anthony regarding cost, edging, brushstroke effects, delivery method, and time frames for completion and delivery, and, once all my questions and concerns were addressed, he directed me to call Mary to place my order over the phone with my credit card. When I called, Mary already had my order drawn up and the process only took a few short minutes to clarify my billing and shipping details. Anthony communicated with me via email every step of the way, from the completion of my canvas, to the day it shipped out from the shop and a full week before the promised delivery date, I came home to a delivery notice on my door. My canvas had arrived! When I opened this carefully packaged art piece I could hardly believe the quality of the print, the vibrancy of the colors, and the fine nature of the details of such a well-priced canvas piece. And it even came with some gorgeous fine art coasters, a logo'd pen, and everything I need to hang the piece! I've attached a photo of the art I have grouped together on the wall of my office - the clown picture below the "Dog Breath" canvas was done by my daughter when she was in 2nd grade. After purchasing Andy Warhol's Flowers, I loved it so much that I bought another matching in alternating colors to hang beside it. I neglected to double check which edge I had applied to my first art had and ended up with two canvases with different edge depths. I sheepishly emailed Anthony if there was anything they could do to help and to my surprise he responded immediately with two very clear solutions. He made it so extremely simple for me. All I did was pay for shipping and within a week he re stretched my canvas to match each other and had it back at my door step. They both look perfect together. I received both of my Bua art pieces today and they are AWESOME! I am so pleased with them, especially Trumpet Man. It is my favorite of all of Bua's work because it reminds me of the happiest times in my childhood. Going for a night drive with my Dad in his Olds. Clear night, three quarter moon, the smell of new upholstery and sweet cigars, and Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald's 1957 version of "Summertime" coming through the radio. That horn intro was pure magic. I miss my Dad terribly. He was a true Cat-Daddy and I was his Jazz Princess. Trumpet Man makes me extremely happy and breaks my heart at the same time. When the Blues painting arrived today and not next week, I knew you had to have upgraded the shipping for it to be delivered in one day! . . . and I don't think it was just "a little extra" either. I remember I shipped a glass painting from D. C. to FL and it was $172 . . . and that was regular shipping with UPS, not 1 day! My Inside/Outside and City Lights sets arrived on Wednesday, more than a week ahead of the original scheduled delivery date and in excellent condition. Since you use several Lourenco works in the samples of brushstrokes on the ATC website, I assume his works take nicely to having heavy acrylic brushstrokes added to the canvas. Would that be the case with "Red Jazz?" I also like "Entity" by Govanovic, because it has great colors, forms, and texture. Would you be able to add very heavy brushstrokes/texture to that canvas? My wife intends to mount them above a set of sliding glass doors leading from our family room to the rear patio/pool area. She wants to hang the artwork in a single row, with each piece spaced evenly above the doors. We have cathedral ceilings, and a large open area from the family room to the living room and entry foyer, so the art will be displayed very prominently in our home this way. We have already installed some nice lighting to accent this location. The Atoll main image will be centered, and my wife has been deciding the arrangement in which the other 8 pieces will be displayed. We were both really excited that you could create nine individual canvasses, allowing her a great deal of freedom in presenting the artwork in this manner. I won't really be too surprised if she occasionally rearranges the presentation as the mood suits her! The simple subject of the Atoll feels appropriate to our South Florida locale, and we love the vibrant earth tones and present quite a dramatic image within our home. I kindly offer our apologies to the artist for abstracting his original work to suit our ideas and space. Mr. Emmerich is certainly welcome to come by and view our presentation. I think he would be pleased.
